Carmen Reese

Carmen Reese has twenty-five years of experience specialized in middle grades (4-8), but she has taught Algebra 1 and Geometry in high school, as well. Her coaching practice is hugely impacted by gathering session data. She has been an Instructional Coach, Testing Coordinator, and Curriculum Design Administrator at the school and district level – helping her hone differentiation strategies that include collaborative efforts with teachers, tracking student progress to ensure that classroom modifications (if required) are being addressed daily, and implemented according to their IEP or 504 plans. Carmen feels that “coaching students to be classroom advocates for their own personal educational journey builds student efficacy and nourishes life long learning.”
